Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage and support IT infrastructure across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Windows/Linux servers, cloud platforms, and network administration. You will be responsible for ensuring high system availability, performance optimization, and timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers.
• Monitor system performance, security logs, and network traffic.
• Perform routine backups, disaster recovery planning, and system updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security policies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement system improvements and automation.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation tasks.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience managing Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange servers.
• Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
• CompTIA Server+, Network+, or Microsoft/Azure certification is a plus.
