System Administrator - Data Center Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our Data Center Operations team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our data center infrastructure. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Role Summary - System Administrator - Data Center Operations

Responsibilities:

Server Assembling, knowledge of server components, HBA, RAID, Remote management, etc

Network Infrastructure:

Basic troubleshooting with network connectivity.

Data Storage:
• Manage and maintain storage systems, including SAN and NAS solutions.• Implement data backup and recovery strategies.• Monitor storage capacity and performance.

Documentation:
• Create and update system documentation, including configurations and procedures.• Maintain an inventory of hardware, software, and network assets.Collaboration:• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects.• Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff members.Emergency Response:• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response and issue resolution.• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.

Desired Skills:

• Graduate / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator in a data center environment.
• In-depth knowledge of server hardware, and operating systems.
• Experience with storage solutions and backup/recovery processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Zetking, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.

Shift Timings: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM (Monday to Saturday).
