As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our data center infrastructure. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Role Summary - System Administrator - Data Center OperationsResponsibilities:Server Management:• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software, OS installation and mandatory Linux environment.• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.• Conduct regular system updates and patch management.Server Assembling, knowledge of server components, HBA, RAID, Remote management, etcNetwork Infrastructure:Basic troubleshooting with network connectivity. Data Storage:• Manage and maintain storage systems, including SAN and NAS solutions.• Implement data backup and recovery strategies.• Monitor storage capacity and performance. Documentation:• Create and update system documentation, including configurations and procedures.• Maintain an inventory of hardware, software, and network assets.Collaboration:• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects.• Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff members.Emergency Response:• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response and issue resolution.• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.Desired Skills: Graduate / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience as a System Administrator in a data center environment.In-depth knowledge of server hardware, and operating systems.Experience with storage solutions and backup/recovery processes.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work well in a team and independently.Relevant certifications (e.g., Zetking, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA) are a plus. Shift Timings: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM (Monday to Saturday).
