System Administration Manager

Role & responsibilities

The ICT Executive is responsible for managing and supporting the organizations information and communication technology infrastructure. The role ensures smooth IT operations, system availability, data security, user support, and coordination with vendors to maintain reliable and secure technology environments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure & Systems:

• Manage and support IT infrastructure including desktops, laptops, servers, networks, and peripherals.
• Ensure availability and performance of LAN, WAN, internet, Wi-Fi, and communication systems
• Monitor system uptime and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

User Support & Helpdesk:

• Provide first-level and second-level technical support to users
• Resolve IT service tickets within defined timelines
• Support installation, configuration, and upgrades of operating systems and applications.

Information Security & Data Protection:

• Implement basic IT security controls, antivirus, firewall rules, and access management
• Ensure data backup, recovery procedures, and system security practices
• Support compliance with information security policies and audits.

Software, Applications & Licensing:

• Manage software installations, licenses, renewals, and compliance
• Coordinate with vendors for ERP, CRM, email, and cloud services
• Maintain software and hardware inventory.

Vendor & Asset Management:

• Coordinate with IT vendors, service providers, and AMC partners
• Track IT assets, warranties, and service contracts
• Assist in procurement and evaluation of IT equipment.

Preferred candidate profile

Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, network diagrams, and asset registers.

Prepare IT MIS, incident reports, and system health updates

Knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, MS Office, basic networking

• Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and data protection
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Vendor coordination and documentation ability
• Good communication and user support skills
