Sustainability Manager

The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing Diageo India's Grain-to-Glass (G2G) sustainability strategy and communications. This role will involve data analysis, insights generation, strategic roadmap development, ESG publications, stakeholder communication, and sustainability-related PR initiatives. You will work on refining Diageo India's G2G sustainability roadmap in alignment with corporate objectives, conduct data analysis to inform sustainability strategy, and prepare sustainability performance reports for management and board-level discussions. Responsibilities will also include capturing G2G Sustainability initiatives for inclusion in Diageo's ESG reports, developing compelling sustainability narratives for various disclosures and presentations, and ensuring impactful storytelling in alignment with sustainability disclosures. You will be tasked with developing internal and external sustainability communication plans, monitoring emerging sustainability policies and trends, engaging with stakeholders, regulators, and industry bodies, and collaborating with various teams to drive sustainability-led brand positioning. Managing sustainability-related PR and thought leadership articles, aligning with corporate messaging, and driving employee engagement programs for a sustainability-focused culture will also be part of your role. The ideal candidate should have a Management/Masters degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field, with experience in sustainability strategy, ESG reporting, and stakeholder engagement. Strong analytical skills for ESG performance tracking, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and familiarity with global and India ESG frameworks are essential. Prior experience in FMCG, CPG, or related industries, exposure to public policy advocacy and sustainability communications, and knowledge of sustainability data management tools and dashboards will be advantageous.
