Surveyor

As a Surveyor at our construction company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate execution of construction projects by conducting detailed land and site surveys. Your responsibilities will include: * Conducting topographical surveys, site layout surveys, and boundary surveys using surveying instruments like total stations, theodolites, GPS, and drones. * Marking out locations of structures, roads, utilities, and other elements based on design plans. * Ensuring construction works are executed at correct locations and levels. * Conducting regular site checks to verify construction aligns with design specifications. * Recording and managing survey data accurately and preparing detailed reports and maps for project stakeholders. * Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to interpret and apply survey data effectively. * Maintaining compliance with safety regulations and best practices, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety measures. * Keeping abreast of the latest surveying technology and techniques, and providing guidance and training to junior surveyors and site staff. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelors degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field. * Experience: 10 to 12 years in land surveying or construction surveying. * Expertise in using instruments like total stations, theodolites, GPS, and laser scanners. Key Skills: * Strong mathematical and analytical abilities. * Excellent attention to detail and precision. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Problem-solving capabilities and the capacity to work independently. * Physical stamina to work on construction sites in various weather conditions.
