The Executive Surveillance will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and operational continuity of Visa Application Centers (VACs) across multiple countries. The role involves real-time monitoring of global security systems, early detection of potential threats, effective incident management, and coordination with regional security and facility teams.
This position requires strong situational awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a high-security, fast-paced environment.
Surveillance and Monitoring:
Monitor CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systems across global Visa Application Centers.
Identify and assess security incidents, threats, or irregular activities in real time.
Ensure all surveillance systems are operational; escalate technical faults promptly.
Verify security alerts and initiate appropriate responses in line with GSOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Coordinate with on-ground security personnel, regional security leads, and emergency response teams as required.
Record all incidents accurately and prepare detailed incident reports.
Act as a central communication point during emergencies or critical events affecting global VAC operations.
Escalate critical issues to relevant stakeholders as per the established escalation matrix.
Maintain professional and timely communication with cross-functional and international teams.
Ensure all monitoring activities comply with company security policies, global data protection regulations, and local legal requirements.
Maintain strict confidentiality concerning applicant and operational data.
Support internal audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate logs of incidents, observations, and system performance.
Prepare daily Security reports and assist in compiling monthly security dashboards.
Support trend analysis and provide recommendations for preventive security measures.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in surveillance operations, GSOC functions, or a similar security control room environment.
Prior experience in supporting global or multinational facilities, particularly in visa, embassy, or consular operations, is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of CCTV systems & Integration with other security system, access control mechanisms, and alarm management.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Familiarity with incident reporting and ticketing tools.
Strong observation skills and situational awareness.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across diverse teams and cultures.
Ability to remain calm and make informed decisions under pressure.
High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
24x7 rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Work environment involves extended hours of screen monitoring in a secure operations center.
Coordination with teams across different time zones.
