Job Purpose/ Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to oversee and manage the smooth and efficient operation of the sinter plant during the assigned shift. This includes ensuring the production process meets quality, safety, and productivity standards while adhering to operational procedures and guidelines. The Shift Incharge will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, optimizing processes, and leading the team to ensure continuous and effective sinter production.

Support Sinter Operation WMLPrioritize workload and execute tasks in alignment with industry best practices to ensure smooth operations.Analyze operations and recommend improvements to minimize plant stoppages and prevent breakdowns.Direct and supervise field operators to ensure the sinter plant is operated in a clean, safe, and efficient manner during shift operations.Proactively identify fire and safety hazards, taking necessary precautions and reporting in accordance with site policies and procedures.Report any accidents, injuries, or staff sickness to the supervisor or competent authority, ensuring proper documentation of accidents/injury procedures.Ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE. based on the work environment and tasks.Oversee lockout-tag out procedures and the safe isolation of equipment during shutdowns.

Shift Incharge - Sinter Operations

We are seeking a candidate with experience in the steel industry or metallic division, preferably with a background in sinter operations. Prior experience in sinter operations will be considered a significant advantage.
