Role & responsibilities

• Prepare a detailed project plan with defined timelines and deliverables to monitor new product development (new projects, major changes and minor changes, ECNs) and present it to Head PMG for sign off
• Ensure adherence to the project plan as per APQP and the quality gating process for new products
• Form a project team (CFT) and identify employees from Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing and Sourcing, etc. for new product development, ensuring their responsibilities are fulfilled on time
• Develop and implement project controls to manage delays, failures, risks and issues, process adherence, cost control and compliances
• Ensure implementation of project planning governance tools, framework and risk mitigation strategies
• Coordinate with Engineering to ensure alignment of product design with customer specifications
• Coordinate with Engineering to prepare process flow designs and carry out PFMEA
• Coordinate with Engineering to define end of line (EOL) quality standards, PDQA and RQC inspection standards and packaging standards
• Resolve customer escalations with respect to product design, process parameters
• Ensure adherence to overall budget of the project
• Manage stakeholders, both internal and external
• Ensuring the adherence to the communication matrix
• Ensuring proper project handover and signoff with CFT
• Implementation of project on ZOHO
• Carry out product trails (T0,T1, T2) as per the timelines, ensuring preparation of detailed trial reports and submission to customers
• Coordinate with customers to gather feedback, prepare a recommended action plan based on the reports to meet customer expectations and carry out further trials as required.
