Support Analyst

As a Support Analyst reporting to the Head of Agile CoE, with 4-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of microservices-based systems. Your strong background in site reliability engineering principles will be essential in designing and implementing solutions to drive improvements across the microservices ecosystem. Your role will involve leading a team of Support Reliability Engineers (SREs) and collaborating closely with various cross-functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Reliability Enhancements:** Lead efforts to enhance the reliability, availability, and performance of microservices-based systems. - **Incident Management:** Develop and implement incident management processes to minimize service disruptions and downtime. - **Monitoring and Alerting:** Design and implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively detect and mitigate issues affecting system reliability. - **Automation:** Drive automation initiatives to streamline operations, deployment, and recovery processes for microservices. - **Capacity Planning:** Collaborate with teams to conduct capacity planning and scaling exercises for optimal performance and resource utilization. - **Performance Optimization:** Identify performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities, working with teams to implement solutions for improved performance. **Qualifications Required:** - **Leadership Ability** - **Problem Solving Skills** - **Empathy for Customers** - **Technical Skills in Microservices Architecture, Cloud Platforms (AWS), Monitoring Tools (AppD, ELK, CloudWatch)** In this role, you will lead reliability initiatives by driving proactive monitoring, automation, and performance optimization.
