Supply Officer

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process for assigned vessels and services portfolio. Your responsibilities will include: - Complying with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations. - Ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental, and ethics policies. - Managing the procurement needs of assigned vessels for goods and services. - Timely ordering of day-to-day requisitions. - Processing approval for quotations and offers received to place orders. - Ensuring on-time delivery on board through the logistic chain from supplier to vessel. - Applying best practices defined by the group procurement. - Preparing and sending enquiries to relevant suppliers. - Analyzing suppliers" offers and selecting the best one according to procurement policy. - Monitoring availability of orders at suppliers" premises. - Following up on shipments of orders through the logistic chain to in-house warehouse, shipyard, and vessel. - Arranging backorders if necessary. - Managing problematic invoices for a better 3-way match between PO/Invoice/good receipt. Minimum qualifications for this role include: - Licensed degree in supply chain. - 2+ years of supply chain experience. - Knowledge in technical shipping management is a plus.
