Supply Chain Planning Engineer

Your role: As a Supply Chain Planning Engineer, your mission is to formulate material procurement plans, monitor supply chain activities, and ensure timely delivery of production components. You will report to Sagar Gunjal. You will: - Formulate material procurement plans based on manufacturing/marketing requirements for the maintenance of Kanban System, JIT Supply & two-bin supply for required volumes - Plan and procure production components at the right time without creating stock out or excess inventory - Forecast material requirements to suppliers based on future demand - Monitor & release purchase orders in time for material requirements to vendors as per the production plan on a daily basis - Follow up with vendors for material shortages, missed KANBANS, and visit them whenever required - Track rejections and take timely actions to avoid stock discrepancies - Work with sourcing team for lead time/lot size reduction - Co-ordinate with sourcing, quality control, 3PL & other functions in manufacturing for timely actions related to production materials - Raise alarms to commodity buyers on the risk associated with the supply and work closely on critical suppliers - Track performance of critical suppliers and their action plans to reach QDC objectives - Raise debit claims for production losses on time for supplier non-performance - Strive for 97% On-time Delivery (100% call-off, 95% Kanban) Inventory Management: - Work as per group guidelines & The way we do things Transport Management To succeed, you will need: - 2+ years of experience in purchase/supply chain - Knowledge in supply chain processes and manufacturing is a plus - Fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi - Proficiency in IT tools like ERP (BPCS), MS-Excel, Word etc - Degree in Production/Mechanical Engineering Essential Functions/Skills/Competencies: - Excellence in IT tools like SAP, ERP (BPCS), MES, SRM, MS-Excel, Word etc - Lean Practices - Problem Solving: Data-driven analytical ability - Undisputed business ethics vs supplier & adhere to Business Code of Practice In return, we offer: - Culture of trust and accountability - Lifelong learning and career growth - Innovation powered by people - Comprehensive compensation and benefits - Health and well-being Job Location: - On-Site: Pune Chakan, India Contact Information: - Talent Acquisition Team: Swapnil Jadhav Note: Any additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.,
