Supply Chain planning Engineer
As a Supply Chain Planning Engineer, You will report to Manager Supply Chain Planning

Material Planning & Control
-
- Formulate Material Procurement Plans based on Manufacturing/marketing requirement for maintenance of Kanban System, JIT Supply & two bin supply for required volumes
- Plan and procure production components (based on allocated commodity) at right time without creating stock out or excess inventory
- Forecasting of Material requirement to suppliers based on future demand
- Monitor & Release purchase orders in time for material requirement to the vendors as per the production plan on daily basis taking into account monthly level plans.
- Follow up with vendors for material shortages as per pending orders statement, missed KANBANS and visit them whenever required

Inventory Management
- Preparing procurement policy for parts as per production requirement & define inventory levels as per projected customer demand. Monitoring of Nonmoving, slow moving parts.
- Conduct system stock and physical stock verification on a regular basis through Cycle Counts to ensure correct stocks in system.
- Analyze and report reasons for stock discrepancy and take actions accordingly
- Control Phase in-out of parts by active participation in NPD and DN management process.

Transport Management
- Coordinate with Transporters for milk run supplies of local parts
- Managing logistics operations involving coordinating with companies for sea/ air/ road transport, forwarder and other external agencies to achieve seamless flow of parts

3PL Coordination
- Resolving document discrepancy issues of suppliers at warehouse
- Coordination for critical parts and NPD supplies
- Coordinate return logistics of trolleys, skids, containers with suppliers

- Active participation in DN process and ensure effective DN implementation ensuring smooth Phase in and Phase out
To succeed, you will need
Qualifications/Knowledge & Work Experience:
- +2 years of experience in purchase / supply chain.
- Knowledge in supply chain processes and Manufacturing is a plus
- Fluent in English, and Indian languages like Hindi and Marathi
- Use of IT tools like ERP (BPCS), MS-Excel, Word etc
- Degree in Production/Mechanical Engineering
