This is not a typical supply chain role. At Shivam Jewels, the Supply Chain Manager is the person who keeps our goods moving safely, accurately, and on time — especially across multiple third-party certification authorities where diamonds are sent and received daily.

In a natural diamond crafting company, supply chain is not only about logistics — it’s about control, documentation, and absolute precision. This role is central to that promise.

You’ll be managing a high-responsibility flow of diamonds that move between our Mumbai office and external labs/certification partners. You will handle multiple shipments, strict timelines, and detailed entry requirements — and will be expected to operate with clarity even during peak workloads.

Key Responsibilities

Certification Logistics & Coordination

• • Manage daily shipments to and from certification authorities (GIA, IGI, HRD, etc.)
• • Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and timelines with courier partners and lab teams
• • Track each stone through its certification journey and ensure timely follow-up until return

Shipment Accuracy & Documentation

• • Ensure all shipment documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant
• • Maintain strict records for goods sent/received, acknowledgements, and tracking numbers
• • Verify inward/outward entries and reconcile returns without errors

Internal Coordination & Workflow Control

• • Work closely with grading, dispatch, sales, and operations teams to align shipment priorities
• • Manage exceptions such as delays, corrections, re-checks, re-submissions, or special lab requirements
• • Maintain process discipline so every stone remains traceable and controlled

Data Tracking & Operational Analysis

• • Build and maintain trackers to monitor shipment timelines, lab turnaround times (TAT), and exceptions
• • Analyse delays and bottlenecks and recommend improvements to reduce cycle times
• • Share regular updates and reports with management on pending goods and workflow status

What We’re Looking For

• • Experience in supply chain / logistics / dispatch / inventory operations (high-value goods preferred)
• • Strong attention to detail and comfort handling multiple tasks daily
• • Good English communication — spoken and written — is mandatory
• • Strong follow-up discipline and a self-motivated, ownership-driven mindset
• • Good working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and ability to maintain clean trackers
• • Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain process integrity
