This is not a typical IT support role. At Shivam Jewels, our IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for keeping our systems running smoothly, from network uptime to CCTV, access control, and hardware infrastructure that supports secure diamond manufacturing.

Youll be the person who ensures our operations never slow down due to connectivity or infrastructure issues. Whether its securing a firewall, fixing an urgent network drop, maintaining surveillance systems, or managing access control, your work will directly impact speed, safety, and continuity across the organization.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, where consistency and reliability matter as much as technical skill.

Key Responsibilities

Network & Connectivity

• Configure and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi networks, and network devices
• Manage routers, switches, and access points, and ensure smooth connectivity across offices and production units
• Monitor performance, uptime, and troubleshoot network issues quickly

Security & Infrastructure

• Manage and troubleshoot firewalls and network security practices
• Maintain IT security logs, access control, and compliance with internal IT policies
• Ensure minimal downtime and secure access across systems

Surveillance & Access Control

• Maintain CCTV systems, NVR/DVR setups, and surveillance network health
• Manage door access systems, biometric attendance devices, and intercoms
• Ensure surveillance and access control systems are functioning reliably at all times

Hardware & Support

• Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Support IP phones and office communication systems
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, AMC, and procurement

Documentation

• Maintain structured documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and IT asset records
• Keep preventive maintenance routines and checklists updated

Technical Expectations

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and related networking concepts
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security
• Experience managing Wi-Fi setups for office + industrial environments
• Working knowledge of CCTV systems and camera networking/storage
• Familiarity with door access control systems and biometric devices
• Proficiency with Windows OS, basic server concepts, and hardware troubleshooting
• Ability to handle incidents independently and restore systems quickly

• Strong documentation and preventive maintenance discipline

What Were Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure/networking
• Proven hands-on capability managing end-to-end office IT systems
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and ownership
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operations environment
• Bonus: experience in manufacturing, secure workplaces, or surveillance-heavy setups
