Supply Chain Lead

Procurement:

• Oversee day-to-day purchase orders with a focus on quick turnaround times for vendor quotes.
• Operate within a center specializing in custom, sole-sourced products directly supplied to third parties.
• Work closely with two skilled procurement specialists experienced in managing these fast-paced demands.

Sourcing:

• Candidate should have familiarity with technical aspects such as machining, casting, and fabrication to accurately understand and evaluate vendor quotes for new projects.
• Provide guidance and strategic oversight to the sourcing team member who is currently skilled in these technical evaluations.
• Understand the business and strategise on which components to resource to build stability, quality, capacity for the center and reduce cost, while maintaining quality.

Warehouse Management:

• Lead the warehouse team with enthusiasm and accountability.
• Manage material issuances, inventory control, and incoming goods receipt (GR)
• Demonstrate strong ethics and integrity by making decisions aligned with company values, even if key performance objectives (KPOs) may be impacted.

Logistics:

• Collaborate with the existing logistics team to gain comprehensive insight into shipment costs.
• Develop strategies to reduce shipping expenses and improve sustainability through shipment consolidation.
• Uphold high ethical standards in managing customs, imports, and exports-related challenges.

Leadership & Communication:

• Exhibit strong decision-making skills and stand firm against unethical requests from other facility teams.
• Fluency in Hindi is mandatory to effectively communicate across vendors.
