Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

Supplier Research & Coordination

Search for potential suppliers (online, local markets, directories).
Collect quotations, compare prices, and update vendor lists.
Follow up with suppliers for product details, documents, and samples.

Data Entry & Record Maintenance

Enter purchase orders, quotations, and supplier details in Excel/ERP.
Maintain updated purchase records, vendor databases, and price lists.
Support in Negotiations & Documentation
Assist Purchase Manager during supplier discussions.
Prepare draft purchase orders, agreements, and supporting documents.
Check invoices, certificates (FSSAI, APEDA, Phytosanitary) for completeness.

Market & Commodity Research

Track basic commodity price trends (rice, spices, fruits, etc.).
Prepare small reports on availability and seasonal supply.

Back-Office & Coordination Tasks

Draft professional emails to suppliers (price requests, clarifications).
Coordinate with logistics and accounts team for smooth workflow.
File and organize procurement-related paperwork.
