Role Overview: As a Senior Supply Chain Executive at Futuristic Labs, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the supply chain operations to ensure the seamless flow of materials and products. You will be responsible for overseeing technical product sourcing, logistics management, inventory control, and manufacturing lead time reduction. Your proactive leadership and collaboration with various teams will be essential in achieving the company's goals. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and establish relationships with domestic and international vendors. - Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. - Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions. - Develop and implement logistics strategies for timely delivery of materials and products. - Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities. - Oversee inventory planning and control to meet production and customer demands. - Implement inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. - Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement process improvements. - Reduce lead times and enhance production efficiency. - Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors. - Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree/MBA preferred. - 6-8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment. - Proven track record in technical product sourcing, logistics, and inventory management. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment. - Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools. - Experience working with international vendors and understanding of global supply chain dynamics.
