Job Description

Role Overview: As bp transitions to an integrated energy company, you will be joining the Competitiveness Delivery team in the supply chain to lead the implementation of projects aimed at enhancing the cost competitiveness of Castrol products across various areas. Your role will involve managing large-scale projects that bring groundbreaking changes to the product and raw material portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and deliver a suite of projects focused on driving cost competitiveness across multiple spaces and geographies. - Collaborate closely with customers in Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Technology, and Performance Units to ensure cross-functional alignment and maximize potential for project success. - Support/lead ideation activities to create a continual pipeline of opportunities for Product Cost Competitiveness activities, including attending market visits/deep dives and leading or supporting subsequent action plans. - Assist in shaping/designing an optimized portfolio of products and raw materials to deliver long-term value and efficiency. - Lead day-to-day project management activities, including managing timelines/landmarks, risks, interdependencies, resources, budgets, and value delivery. - Ensure tracking and assurance of value delivery from projects through agreed reporting processes. - Adhere to standard PMO tools/processes, including regular status reporting and ad hoc Project/Programme Assurance Reports for Team, Project Governance, and Leadership. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience, ideally within Lubricants, chemicals, or FMCG industries, with a solid track record of delivery. - Technical knowledge of lubricant formulations and requirements is advantageous. - Solid project management experience, ideally with formal qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile). - Experience in data analysis and the ability to use analytics tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI) to identify insights, solve problems, and make decisions. - Proven leadership skills and experience in developing relationships and handling customers across different teams and organizational levels. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and customer management skills. - Experience working in a global or matrixed organization is an advantage. - Ability to work independently and achieve results in a dynamic environment. - Ability to handle a diverse set of activities and prioritize effectively to achieve the optimum result for the organization. Note: You will work with customers in Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Technology, and Performance Units.,
