1. Solution Architecture & Design
- Design and develop
Control Tower architectures
that integrate data, analytics, and workflows for proactive decision-making across supply, production, inventory, and logistics. - Define
target state architectures
for supply chain visibility, planning, and execution using cloud-native platforms (either or more of - Azure, Databricks, AWS, GCP, etc.). - Establish integration patterns between
ERP (SAP, Oracle), MES, WMS, TMS, and planning systems
to enable seamless data flow. - Develop frameworks for
real-time monitoring, exception management, and scenario-based simulation
.
2. Domain Expertise & Process Excellence
- Deep understanding of
Manufacturing operations
, including: - Demand and supply planning
- Production scheduling and shop-floor execution
- Inventory and materials management
- Logistics and fulfillment processes
- Supplier collaboration and procurement analytics
- Define business KPIs and process maps aligned to
control tower objectives
(e.g., OTIF, lead time reduction, forecast accuracy). - Partner with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize use cases for
digital twin
, predictive supply chain
, and AI-driven optimization
.
3. Technology & Data Integration
- Lead design of
data models, pipelines, and semantic layers
supporting supply chain analytics. - Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure
data quality, lineage, and master data alignment
. - Define architecture patterns for integrating
IoT, sensor data, and MES signals
for manufacturing visibility. - Collaborate with AI/ML teams to embed
forecasting, anomaly detection, and prescriptive recommendations
within control tower dashboards.
4. Implementation Leadership
- Serve as
architectural authority
across supply chain transformation programs. - Collaborate with product, data, and IT teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant implementation.
- Guide development of
dashboards, digital twins, and predictive insights
on leading platforms (Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, etc.). - Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise data and architecture standards.
5. Stakeholder & Program Management
- Partner with senior stakeholders (VP Supply Chain, CIO, COO) to translate strategic goals into actionable architecture roadmaps.
- Mentor cross-functional teams on supply chain best practices and emerging technologies.
- Support pre-sales, proposal creation, and client workshops by articulating value through
use cases, ROI models, and solution blueprints.
