Designation: Sales Manager

Reporting To: CEO.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for transformer products.
  • Manage and mentor the sales team to achieve sales goals.
  • Identify and develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional activities.
  • Track sales performance metrics and generate reports.
  • Serve Market regularly to generate new enquires.
  • Identify industrial customers by coordinating with dealers Contractors.
  • Regular follow up with customer for order by attending price negotiation
  • Generate business by developing implementing own communication strategy
  • Develop new customer in new Territory
  • Involvement responsible from `inquiry to Dispatch of order.
  • Follow up with Customer for payment`
  • Handling the Branch independently for day-to-day operating functions.
  • Good Experience in Sales strategy (Promotion, expenses, projections).
  • Be responsible for the definition and execution of the segment commercial strategy
  • Lead the planning of the regional quarterly orders plans working with the Commercial Leader and the regional Sales teams
  • Work closely with the global and regional Sales leadership teams to communicate the segment strategy to the field
  • Support the regional Commercial Operations and Sales teams with Customer presentations and opportunity pipeline development
  • Provide commercial leadership for key, more complex opportunities strategy to win, including positioning, differentiation, value proposition, pricing, etc.
  • Work in close cooperation with the region Sales Specialist to assure the timely delivery of high quality and differentiated proposals, in compliance with the R process and Policy 5.0
  • Be responsible for defining and assuring the execution of the pricing strategy
  • Develop deep technical expertise in the PTR (Power Transformers, Shunt Reactors, Special Transformers and Bushings) product offerings as well as deep market knowledge
  • Work jointly with Product Management/Engineering/Supply chain teams to drive development and delivery of new products and services to meet customer needs and improve customer satisfaction
  • Support trade shows and industry association meetings in coordination with the Product Line team
  • Build & maintain relationships with the regional Sales Specialist, Account Managers, Channel partners, and the Grid Solutions sales force to drive market share growth
  • Support and cooperate closely with the Commercial Leader, Product Manager, and the Marketing team to develop the segment growth strategy through the GPB, S2 and Op plan business processes
  • Manage sales opportunities for new and existing blankets through SPEAk4GE (Salesforce.com). Work with the region Sales Specialist to close opportunities with actual order values
  • Provide sales training to Account Managers, and Channels including opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, specification influence and other initiatives as required
  • Participate in assessing the performance of sales channels to make changes or additions as appropriate to grow orders and sales
  • Measured on and accountable for meeting or exceeding the Orders, Sales, CM, and Price Op Plan

Skills & Requirements:

  • BE (Electrical & Electronic Engineer) or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the power transformer industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
