Supplier Quality Leader

As a Supplier Quality Leader at Rolls-Royce, you will play a crucial role in providing quality leadership both internally and at suppliers. Your main responsibility will be to define and implement strategies that drive quality improvement efficiently. It is essential for you to maintain independence in reflecting the business and regulatory responsibilities of the function. Key Responsibilities: - Coach and lead suppliers towards achieving Zero Defects and Quality Improvement Plans. - Assist suppliers in complying with relevant requirements such as SABRe and external standards. - Contribute to sourcing decisions by conducting pre-selection assessments (ESSCA). - Collaborate with suppliers to develop their Quality Management System for approval readiness. - Ensure suppliers align their plans and strategies with the company's values and strategy. - Engage and influence a wide range of people at all levels internally and at suppliers. - Conduct product audits, process walks, and review suppliers" internal audit programs. - Promote a culture of robust problem-solving and continuous improvement. - Encourage suppliers to hold themselves accountable for governance, data, and reporting standards. Qualifications: - Ability to coach and influence suppliers at all levels for zero defects using expert knowledge. - Proficiency in assessing and auditing suppliers" compliance with Aerospace standards and company specifications. - Excellent communication skills to influence suppliers in solving complex problems. - Good business acumen and broad knowledge of disciplines across Civil Aerospace. - Deep understanding of external commercial, compliance, and regulatory factors. - Demonstrated leadership and influence capabilities both internally and at suppliers.
