Job Description

2 Open Positions:

Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager - 8- 15 years
Senior Engineer- 5- 8 years

Supplier Quality (Sheetmetal)Industry Type Metals, Automobile industry

Education Qualification: BE

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality standards and processes in line with Sheetmetal, plastics requirements.
Evaluate, qualify, and approve new suppliers through audits and capability assessments.
Drive supplier corrective action requests (SCARs), root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
Monitor supplier performance (PPM, OTD, NCR trends) and lead regular reviews with suppliers.
Collaborate with procurement and engineering for supplier selection during NPI and change management.
Support APQP/PPAP, FAI, and other quality documentation for critical components and PCB assemblies.
Conduct on-site audits for process, system, and compliance (ISO/IATF, ESD, RoHS/REACH).
Partner with suppliers to drive process improvements, cost of poor-quality reduction, and lean practices.
Act as the key interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders for quality escalations.

Skills Required

Bachelor degree in Electronics/Mechanical
SQA experience, preferably in Metals / automotive / high-tech manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of Sheetmetal and plastic commodity.
Hands-on experience with tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of quality standards: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100 (aerospace).
Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
Ability to travel to supplier locations as needed.
