Supplier Quality Assurance

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality KPIs are enhanced or maintained and supporting commodity management's strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include conducting On-Site Assessments in the wider APAC region to evaluate suppliers" processes for producing parts that meet customer requirements. You will provide the necessary quality details to support source selection and supplier rationalization efforts. In addition, you will offer technical oversight and expertise to suppliers in areas such as Process Development through Capability Studies, FMEA, MSAs/GRRs, Control Plans, Error Proofing, and Basic Problem Solving. You will also support Allegion's NPD programs, leading AQP reviews with Suppliers, which involve Design reviews via Tooling Risk Assessment, Pass Thru identification, Key Characteristic Matrix, Safe Launch Control, Launch Readiness, and Run-at-Rate. Your role will be critical in ensuring on-time PPAP and Flawless Launch for key Allegion components. You will collaborate with Plant QE and Suppliers in 8D problem-solving, leading cross-functional teams on resolving major issues at Supplier locations and driving supplier 8Ds to on-time closure. Furthermore, you will support the training of internal staff and other functions on Supplier Quality processes, tools, procedures, and work instructions.
