Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes at Fairfield by Marriott Hyderabad Gachibowli. As a part of the Non-Management team, you will communicate company values and culture to new employees and review and implement new Reservations procedures. Your main tasks will include processing all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail. You will need to identify guest reservation needs, determine appropriate room types, and verify the availability of room types and rates. Furthermore, you will be expected to explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers, accommodate and document special requests, and answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations. To maximize revenue, you will follow sales techniques and input and access data in the reservation system. In case of challenges with accommodating rooming requests, you will troubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues and concerns, or escalate/refer them to the appropriate individual. Additionally, you will assist management in training, scheduling, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees. You will serve as a role model and the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. It will be crucial to follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and protect company assets. You will welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests" service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. To qualify for this position, you should have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, along with at least 2 years of related work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. No specific license or certification is required for this role.
