Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor – Machine Shop to manage and oversee day-to-day production activities in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of CNC/VMC/HMC machines along with leadership skills to handle manpower and ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage machine shop production activities during assigned shifts
• Operate, set, and program CNC, VMC, and HMC machines
• Ensure adherence to production planning, quality standards, and delivery schedules
• Handle manpower planning and shift-wise workforce management
• Understand and implement Work Instructions (WI) and monitor critical, major, and minor product parameters
• Implement in-process rejection controls and take corrective/preventive actions
• Ensure proper use of fixtures, tooling, and equipment optimization
• Maintain 5S, Kaizen, and Safety norms on the shop floor
• Ensure compliance with IATF and OHSAS documentation and standards
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams for smooth operations

Requirements

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical or relevant field
• Experience in machine shop / manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of CNC, VMC, HMC operations and production supervision
• Ability to work in rotational shifts
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude with a hands-on approach

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to foundry or automotive component manufacturing
• Knowledge of QMS, productivity improvement, and process optimization
