Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Safety Management

Implement and enforce company EHS policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify unsafe acts, conditions, and potential hazards.
Ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken promptly and effectively.
Monitor subcontractor safety performance and compliance.
Support toolbox talks, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and permit-to-work systems.

2. Training & Awareness

Conduct site safety inductions for all new employees and visitors.
Deliver safety training sessions (e.g., working at heights, confined space, PPE use).
Promote safety awareness campaigns and initiatives.

3. Incident & Risk Management

Lead or assist in the investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Maintain incident and inspection records and report findings to management.
Support the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).

4. Environmental Compliance

Monitor site waste management, spill control, and environmental protection measures.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
Participate in environmental audits and reporting.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS records (inspection checklists, permits, logs, etc.).
Prepare weekly and monthly EHS reports for management and clients.
Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 system implementation and audits.
