Job Description

Role & responsibilities Planning- Ensure a good understanding of entire set of tender documents including BOQ, Specification documents, terms and conditions etc. As a result, have an understanding of the scope of entire project in detail. Prepare a working budget. Finalize and communicate all project requirements (resources) to relevant stakeholders. Prepare and sign-off on the schedule and communicate to all relevant stakeholders. Set targets and goals for sub-teams. Identification of potential risks from internal and external perspective. Keep updating risk register and base project decisions with due regards to potential risks. Project Execution- Ensure that the deliverables are being met as per planned timelines. Identify any addition in scope and get it authorized. Ensure that all items of execution are being delivered as per specifications and as per quality parameters. Cost Management: Ensuring that the project stays on course with respect to finalised working budget. Analyzing any deviations, taking in-time decisions for course correction. Forecasting changes to budgets and being prepared for unplanned changes. Schedule Management: Track project schedule and make sure that the progress is as per decided timelines. Take decisions to revise the baseline schedule when necessary and communicate to relevant stakeholders. Resource Management: Forecast requirements and changes in requirements of resources. Review project requirements (resources) on an on-going basis. Procure and allocate resources with help of support functions. Accommodate changes in scope of timelines and redistribute resources effectively. Output monitoring: Derive productivity for work and identify benchmarks to evaluate the health and progress of the project. Evaluate the performance of contractors and team, take necessary decision in form of corrective actions and feedback to relevant persons or department. Process control: Being the custodian of all processes at project. - Ensuring that the team operates in alignment to defined processes. Providing support wherever needed to balance process requirements and project demands. *Experience should have mainly on Commercial Projects.
