Description
As a Technical Writer at EY GDS Content Center of Excellence, you will play a crucial role in preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents with minimal supervision. Your responsibilities will include creating and reviewing user/administrator guides, collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze communication/training requirements, and identifying information gaps to define appropriate instructional design approaches. You will also be responsible for organizing and presenting information through diagrams, flow charts, and process flow maps, and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and best practices in technical documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Create and review user/administrator guides, installation guides, video tutorials, online help, and developer documentation - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze communication/training requirements and identify information gaps - Write crisp, concise, and easy-to-follow technical documents - Provide recommendations on best practices in technical documentation - Lead documentation initiatives and drive guidelines and best practices for the technical writing function - Create content for state-of-the-art applications for a diverse range of user groups Qualifications Required: - At least 8-9 years of related experience - Bachelors or masters degree, preferably in English literature or mass communication - Working knowledge of tools such as Visio, Snagit, and RoboHelp - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat/PDF-XChange - Knowledge in Project Management tools and methods Additional Details: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network operating across six locations.
