SuccessFactors Engineer | Employee Central | EMEA Shift | Bengaluru

Role & responsibilities

The EMEA Senior SuccessFactors Engineer supports and enhances Colliers' SAP SuccessFactors platform by resolving technical issues and ensuring best practices in development, testing, and support. Collaborating with HR, Finance, IT, and third-party partners, this role is crucial for the operation of Colliers' IT infrastructure. A strong understanding of cloud development and operations is required. The engineer will be involved in the product lifecycle, including planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and support, as Colliers transitions to an SAP back-office and improves SuccessFactors applications.

System Operations & Support

• Manage day-to-day operation of SAP SuccessFactors, including minor configurations, fixes, and enhancements.
• Activate new features and implement changes as per agreed roadmap.
• Maintain system security, user access controls, and compliance with policies/regulations.
• Manage certificate renewals, platform upgrades, and apply release note changes (e.g., SSO tokens, SSL).
• Investigate and resolve technical/system issues, performing root cause analysis and deploying fixes.
• Ensure alignment of development, test, and production environments following standard lifecycle practices.
• Maintain and update technical documentation.

Integration & Technical Development

• Monitor and support inbound/outbound integrations between SuccessFactors, ERP systems, and third-party platforms.
• Resolve data-related and technical integration issues.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git) and automation for preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with security teams to address cybersecurity risks and maintain system resilience.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with HR and Finance leadership, business process owners, and country teams to support platform operations and future roadmaps.
• Liaise with SAP core product support and AMS providers for complex issue resolution.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to align SAP solutions with business objectives.
• Support the Head of Applications COE in reporting and meeting SLA commitments.
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to local teams and external partners.

Technical Expertise & Continuous Improvement

• Leverage expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Deliver and enhance integrations using SAP Integration Suite and APIs
• Apply programming knowledge (Java, C/C++, SQL, XML) for technical problem-solving.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including error prevention, automation, and release enablement.
• Stay current on SAP trends, integration best practices, and emerging technologies

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors; SAP Integration Suite; ABAP) are a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile Development and Test methods (possible certification).
• ITIL Certification (desirable).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated and adaptable to a collaborative, dynamic work environment.
