Sub - System Manager - Lob ( Life On Board)

You''ll play a pivotal role in managing and delivering sub-system activities that meet customer needs while achieving Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) objectives. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, R&D, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and RAMS), ensure alignment with project-level stakeholders, and contribute to risk and opportunity management.

Youll specifically take care of sub-system planning, monitoring, and reporting, but also lead teams in achieving project objectives and manage interfaces with other sub-systems and project stakeholders.

• Applying project strategies to meet contractual commitments and project targets for the sub-system.
• Coordinating and supporting cross-functional execution of sub-system activities and deliverables.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, standards, and processes, including EHS, Railway Safety, and Quality.
• Cascading and allocating sub-system requirements and objectives to team members.
• Managing sub-system activities end-to-end, including scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, and opportunities.
• Representing Alstom towards customers and external stakeholders when delegated.

• Masters or Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
• Experience as a manager of an operational scope (minimum 2 years).
• Understanding of project management processes and cross-functional coordination.
• Familiarity with working in multi-national companies and diverse business cultures.
• IPMA Level D certification (or equivalent) is desirable.
• Knowledge of the Alstom way of working is a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Result-oriented mindset with the ability to synchronize multi-site/multi-disciplinary teams.
