About the Role: As a Study Abroad Counselor at Vidysea , you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting students through the entire application journey for higher education opportunities in the US, UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia . You will be their trusted advisor, offering strategic insights, empathetic guidance, and professional support at every step of the process. Key Responsibilities: Comprehensive Counseling: Advise students and parents on program selection, university choices, admission criteria, and scholarship opportunities tailored to their goals. Application Support: Assist students with application procedures, including essay reviews, documentation, and submission management. Financial Aid & Scholarships: Guide students in identifying and applying for scholarships and other funding options. Visa & Pre-departure Guidance: Support students through visa application processes and pre-departure preparation. Student Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with students, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and successful outcomes. Partnership Collaboration: Coordinate with partner institutions and agents to promote Vidysea's offerings and generate qualified leads. Travel: Participate in education fairs and visit partner institutions (approximately 20% travel required). Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in study abroad counseling or a related education advisory role. Strong knowledge of international education systems and admissions procedures for the US, UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management capabilities. A passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
