This role focuses on guiding students in Grades 8–12 across different boards ( CBSE/ICSE/IB/IGCSE ), helping them make informed decisions on subject choices, career paths, and profile-building strategies through the use of psychometric tools and personalized roadmaps. Key Responsibilities 🎓 Student Guidance & Career Counseling (Grades 8–12) Conduct individual and group counseling sessions tailored to academic stages and interests. Help students in Grades 9–10 select suitable subjects based on strengths, interests, and career goals. Guide students in aligning academics and co-curriculars with long-term objectives. Facilitate career exploration sessions using assessment data and higher education trends. Educate students and parents about academic pathways, interdisciplinary options, and career possibilities. Provide insights on competitive exams, profile requirements, and university admissions (India and abroad). 📘 Profile Building Develop customized roadmaps for each student, based on future academic and career aspirations. Recommend and support participation in relevant internships, extracurriculars, summer schools, volunteering, and certification programs. Track student development over time, maintaining detailed counseling records and plans. 🧠 Psychometric Assessments Administer and interpret a range of assessments, including: Personality tests (e.g., MBTI) Aptitude & interest inventories Learning style and value-based assessments Translate test results into actionable guidance for students and parents. Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Education, or a related field. 8–10 years of experience in school or academic counseling (preferably K–12). Certification in psychometric assessments. Knowledge of various education systems: CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE , etc. Familiarity with both Indian and international post-secondary study options. Desirable Qualifications Experience with digital counseling and psychometric platforms. Demonstrated success in stream selection and college/career placements. Understanding of global university admissions and evolving career trends. Key Skills Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students and parents.
