At our Kacheripady Center, our in-house media production is core to this mission—capturing lessons, lectures, and learning experiences that reach thousands of students every day. Position Overview We are seeking a Studio Executive to support the production and recording of professional-grade instructional videos. This role will require working closely with faculty members and the production team to ensure smooth studio operations, proper equipment handling, and high-quality recordings. Key Responsibilities Studio & Equipment Setup Assist in the setup and operation of video equipment including DSLR/mirrorless cameras, microphones, lighting systems, and teleprompters . Conduct pre-recording checks to ensure all equipment is functional and optimized for shooting. Session Coordination Coordinate with faculty and team members to schedule recording sessions. Prepare classrooms or studios to maintain a quiet, professional recording environment. Recording & Live Support Monitor recordings in real time to ensure proper framing, lighting, and audio clarity . Provide on-the-spot troubleshooting for technical issues during shoots. Support live streaming sessions and virtual class recordings when needed Post-Production & File Management Organize and store raw footage and project files in shared drives or asset management systems. Assist in basic editing tasks such as trimming, syncing, or adding titles (if skilled). Ensure all content is properly labeled and archived for future use. Maintenance & Collaboration Maintain studio cleanliness and manage proper storage of equipment. Report any hardware malfunctions or replacement needs to the Studio Manager. Work closely with video editors, content creators, and academic teams to enhance output quality. Required Skills & Qualifications Basic understanding of video recording workflows and equipment operation. Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro , or similar is a plus . Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution. Good communication skills and ability to work well with instructors and creative teams. Organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet production timelines.
