POSITION: Student Mentor

About Albedo

Tuition providing platform offering both online and offline tutoring for students from KG to Grade 12

Overview

We are seeking a Student Mentor to guide and support students in their academic, personal, and career development. The mentor will act as a role model, helping students and parents adapt to new environments, overcome challenges, and build confidence to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

• Support students in academic, personal, and career growth.
• Conduct one-on-one or group mentoring sessions.
• Encourage study habits, time management, and goal setting.
• Listen to concerns and provide guidance or referrals.
• Organize workshops, orientations, and skill-building sessions.
• Act as a bridge between students, faculty, and administration.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and active listening.
• Ability to maintain trust and confidentiality.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience in mentoring/tutoring (preferred).
• Educational background in counseling, or related fields (advantage).
