Student councillor cum tele caller A Student Counsellor cum Tele caller primarily handles inquiries and guides prospective students through the enrolment process, often by phone. They need to be communicative and knowledgeable about the institute's programs, providing accurate information and answering student queries. Additionally, they may also handle inbound and outbound calls, follow up on inquiries, and coordinate with other teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.  Job Purpose: provides support and guidance to students in various aspects of their academic. Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Telemarketing: Making outbound calls to potential students/leads, promoting the institute's programs, and providing basic information.  Counselling: Guiding students on suitable programs based on their interests and career goals, clarifying doubts, and helping them make informed decisions.  Career Planning: Ø  Assisting students in setting academic and career goals.  Ø  Organizing workshops and providing resources on vocational programs and career-based counselling.  Ø  Helping students explore different career options and develop necessary skills.  Lead Management: Maintaining records of calls, follow-ups, and conversions, and coordinating with other teams for smooth onboarding.  Customer Service: Handling inquiries, doubts, or issues professionally and promptly, both over the phone and in-person.  Meeting Targets: Meeting monthly and quarterly targets for inquiries, counselling sessions, and admissions.  Event Participation: Participating in events, open houses, and webinars if needed.  Requirement: Skills and Qualifications:- Education: Typically, a bachelor's degree is preferred.  Experience: While not always mandatory, experience in telemarketing, counselling, sales, or student support can be beneficial.  Knowledge , Skills & Abilities:  Ø  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.  Ø  Knowledge of relevant educational programs and services. Ø  Strong listening and active communication skills. Ø  Ability to handle inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly. Ø  Experience in telemarketing, counseling, sales, or student support (preferred). Ø  Review both current and past reports about the student(s), in a bid to check their progress levels and also make further recommendations if need be Ø  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
