Structural Engineer

Job description & Key Responsibility: ● Perform design calculations and structural analysis for various structures including but not limited to concrete, steel, masonry and wood. ● Coordinate with clients, other disciplines and contractors. ● Adhere to appropriate standards and codes, USA Codes. ● Becomes familiar with the company’s safety and working protocols. ● Manage projects including design, city approval, bidding, construction documents, and administration. ● Strong knowledge of structural inspection. ● Able to produce CAD drawings of approved designs for bid and permitting processes. ● Assist the Lead Structural Engineer in developing project scopes, engineering estimates, and capital cost estimation. Qualifications: ● Must have at least 1 year of US experience. ●Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering required. Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred. ● 2-5 years of experience in the related field required. ● Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, RISA, STAAD, TEEDS, and RetainPro. ● Possess strong theoretical and technical knowledge. ● Ability to participate and collaborate in team projects. ● Ability to think critically and communicate effectively. ● Strong prioritization and organization skills to meet deadlines. ● Ability to work independently and come up with solutions. ● Strong verbal and written skills. ● Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
