Job Description

Role Description

Civil Structural Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

Draft RCC & Steel structure drawings including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and detailing.
Prepare structural layout plans, sections, and reinforcement detailing as per IS codes.
Modify drawings based on design revisions and client/engineer feedback.
Assist in preparing approval drawings for authorities like VMC, VUDA, etc.
Ensure drafting accuracy, layer management, and drawing presentation.
Maintain drawing documentation and version control.

Qualifications

Education:

Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Draftsmanship (Civil).

Skills Required:

Proficiency in
AutoCAD
(2D drafting is a must).
Basic understanding of
structural systems (RCC and Steel)
.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of IS code standards for detailing is a plus.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and grow in a design environment.
