Role Description As a Civil Structural Draftsman , you will be responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings and plans using AutoCAD or related drafting software under the guidance of senior engineers. You will work closely with the design and engineering team to convert conceptual designs and calculations into technical drawings required for construction and approvals. Key Responsibilities: Draft RCC & Steel structure drawings including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and detailing. Prepare structural layout plans, sections, and reinforcement detailing as per IS codes. Modify drawings based on design revisions and client/engineer feedback. Assist in preparing approval drawings for authorities like VMC, VUDA, etc. Ensure drafting accuracy, layer management, and drawing presentation. Maintain drawing documentation and version control. Qualifications Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Draftsmanship (Civil). Skills Required: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting is a must). Basic understanding of structural systems (RCC and Steel) . Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Knowledge of IS code standards for detailing is a plus. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and grow in a design environment.
