Job Description

You will be responsible for developing and implementing multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers, and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price, and service. Your role will involve aligning strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management, and functional owners. You will execute competitive bids, negotiations, contracting processes, and technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services. Collaboration across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage is an essential part of your responsibilities. A high level of expertise in procurement competencies is expected, ensuring that results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - 10+ years of experience in NPD Sourcing or project management role. - Proven Experience in New Product Introduction as a sourcing analyst in a global company is preferred. - Experience in sourcing mechanical components such as stamping, molding, diecasting, machining, and electronics components such as PCB, PCBA, cable. Technical understanding of these commodities is required. - Education: Bachelor's level degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sourcing/Procurement, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus. - Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English. - Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, able to work well with international teams and individuals. - Strong analytical skills, comprehensive and logical thinking. - Demonstrated negotiation skills. - Proficient in MS Office suite; advanced Excel, PowerPoint. - Lean PD experience is a plus. - Previous SAP experience or training is a plus. Desired Skills: - Work with commodity management to leverage supplier capabilities and improve collaboration among TE and the supply base. - Improve overall service from Procurement to internal customers, e.g., project managers and project core team members. - Provide strong support for TE manufacturing plant(s) for NPI. - Hold Voice of Customer Sessions with internal customers and utilize feedback to improve team performance and supply base service. - Complete special projects as directed by regional or global management.
