Strategic Intelligence Analyst

Your role and responsibilities

As a Strategic Intelligence Analyst, you will bea key contributor to Market Intelligence team of ABB Robotics, delivering actionable insights that shape strategic decisions across the organization. You will contribute to intelligence efforts that decode market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends, helping ABB Robotics stay ahead in a rapidly evolving global environment.

The work model for the role is: #Li_hybridThis role is contributing to the Robotics division in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:

• Perform high-quality analysis to address complex strategic questions in a pragmatic and structured manner.
• Comfortable with Macroeconomic terms and able to create a concise picture considering the industry
• Stay abreast with latest developments in the market and its main competitors around M&A, Patents and strategy
• Bring in your expertise on research and source validation to ensure high quality research
• Proactively identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities in geopolitical, macroeconomic, and market environment relevant to Robotics
• Formulate insights into concise, high-impact presentations and documents for senior and executive management.
• Contribute to or lead regular Strategic Intelligence updates for leadership teams.
• Lead interactions with colleagues across functions, geographies, and business lines.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Marketing or other equivalent field.
• 7 to 10years of professional experience, including4+ years in corporate strategy, strategy consulting with a proven track record of creating tangible impact
• Strong analytical and organization skills, including the ability to evaluate credibility and draw appropriate conclusions from large volume of data
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, preparing concise reports, presentations, and summaries.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Experience with market intelligence platforms (e.g., Statista, PitchBook, S&P Capital IQ).
• Knowledge on finance and accounting principles is added advantage
• Ability to work effectively in collaboration with global setup including multiple stakeholders
• A curious mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement
