Job Description

Store Incharge – Job Responsibilities

Inventory Management
Maintain accurate stock records (inward & outward).
Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation.
Ensure minimum stock levels are maintained for uninterrupted production.
Material Handling
Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, tools, and finished goods.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and segregation of materials.
Monitor the movement of materials to and from the store.
Issuance & Dispatch
Issue materials to production and other departments as per approved requisitions.
Prepare delivery challans, gate passes, and related documents for dispatch.
Coordinate with logistics for timely dispatch of goods.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, stock registers, and other store records.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management.
Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately.
Compliance & Safety
Follow company policies for store operations and safety standards.
Ensure proper housekeeping in the store area.
Prevent material wastage, pilferage, and ensure security of stock.
Coordination
Liaise with purchase, production, quality, and accounts departments for smooth operations.
Assist in vendor returns and replacement of defective materials.
Support audit processes (internal & external) with accurate records.
Team Management (if applicable)
Supervise store assistants/helpers and allocate duties.
Train team members in store procedures and safety.
Monitor efficiency and discipline within the store team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
