Storekeeper / Purchase procurement

Role Overview: You will be responsible for Supplier Management, Procurement, Inventory Control, Logistics and Operations, Cost Management, Reporting and Record-Keeping in order to secure quality materials and services at optimal prices, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure a safe and organized working environment. Key Responsibilities: - Research, evaluate, and liaise with vendors to secure quality materials and services at optimal prices - Plan and execute purchase orders, negotiate contracts and terms, and ensure compliance with procurement policies - Monitor stock levels, maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure proper storage and handling of materials - Coordinate with departments to determine material needs, manage warehouse layout, and ensure a safe and organized working environment - Identify cost-saving opportunities, conduct cost analyses, and support profitability by optimizing the supply chain - Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses, and maintain updated records of deliveries and invoices Qualifications Required: - A Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field is often preferred - Proven work experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or as a Purchasing Officer is highly beneficial - Knowledge of vendor sourcing practices and supply chain procedures is crucial Additional Details: The job type for this position is Full-time, Permanent.
