Job Description:

Job Title: Storekeeper / Stock Controller

Reports To: Operations Manager

Location- Anjuna, North Goa.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving and Inspection:

- Receive and inspect incoming materials, supplies, and products against purchase orders and delivery notes.

- Verify quality, quantity, and report discrepancies.

- Accurately document and process incoming goods into the inventory management system.

2. Inventory Management and Storage:

- Organize and store items according to established procedures (product type, FIFO/LIFO, category codes).

- Maintain accurate inventory records using Inventory Management Software (IMS).

- Monitor stock levels, initiate purchase requisitions, and conduct regular physical inventory counts.

3. Issuing and Dispatching:

- Accurately pick and prepare items for internal use or customer orders.

- Issue materials against authorized requisitions.

- Prepare goods for dispatch with proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.

4. Organization, Safety, and Security:

- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom/warehouse.

- Operate warehouse equipment safely (if certified).

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or Stock Controller.

- Familiarity with inventory management best practices.

- Proficiency in Inventory Management Software (IMS) and basic computer skills.

- Physical ability to lift, stand, and move heavy objects.
