Storekeeper in Construction Project

Job description Key Responsibilities: Material Management: Receive and inspect materials delivered to the site. Ensure quality and quantity match with purchase orders and delivery notes. Properly store materials to prevent damage or deterioration. Inventory Control: Maintain stock registers (physical and digital). Issue materials to site engineers or supervisors as per requirement. Monitor stock levels and inform procurement when items are low. Documentation: Maintain records of material receipts, issues, and returns. Prepare daily/weekly stock reports. Coordinate with accounts for material invoices. Coordination: Work closely with the site engineer, procurement team, and logistics. Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid work stoppages. Safety & Compliance: Ensure materials are stored safely and securely. Follow company protocols and safety standards.
