Storekeeper

Job Summary:

The Storekeeper is responsible for efficiently managing the restaurant's inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing food, beverage, and non-food items. This role ensures all goods are properly organized, maintained, and tracked to support smooth kitchen and service operations, while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities: Receiving:

• Receive all incoming deliveries (food, beverages, cleaning supplies, disposables, etc.).
• Inspect products for quantity, quality, expiry dates, and damages.
• Match items with purchase orders and delivery notes; report discrepancies.

Storage & Stock Organization:

• Store perishable and non-perishable items in designated storage areas (dry, chiller, freezer) with proper labeling and temperature control.
• Use FIFO (First-In, First-Out) system to minimize wastage and expiry.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.

Issuing & Inventory:

• Issue ingredients and items to kitchen or service team based on daily requisitions.
• Track and update stock levels using manual records or inventory software.
• Perform daily and monthly physical stock counts; report shortages or overages.
• Ensure accurate stock rotation and timely replenishment.

✅ Compliance & Safety:

• Maintain documentation for all stock movement and inventory levels.
• Follow food safety standards, health codes, and HACCP guidelines.
• Assist in internal and external audits of inventory systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a storekeeper in a restaurant or F&B environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Familiar with inventory software or Excel for stock tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physically fit to handle lifting and moving of stock.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
