Accurately dispense prescription medications as per physician orders
Review prescriptions for correctness, dosage, interactions, and contraindications
Provide medication counseling and usage guidance to customers
Handle controlled substances in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Maintain proper storage conditions for medicines (temperature, hygiene, safety)
Monitor inventory, expiry dates, and stock replenishment
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, SOPs, and company policies
Maintain prescription records and documentation
Address customer queries regarding medicines and health products
Recommend OTC products responsibly
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when required
Follow statutory requirements of Drug Control authorities
Ensure audit readiness and accurate documentation
Participate in internal checks, tests, or assessments as required
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm)
Valid Pharmacist Registration with State Pharmacy Council
Basic knowledge of drug names, dosage forms, and schedules
Understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations
Attention to detail and strong ethical standards
Good communication and customer-handling skills
