Job Description

Role Overview: As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site/store. Your main duties will include inventory control, timely issuance and receipt of materials, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the availability of necessary items for smooth construction operations. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and store materials, tools, and equipment following company procedures - Maintain inventory records using manual logs or inventory software - Ensure all materials are issued to departments/projects with appropriate documentation (Material Requisition Slips/Issue Slips) - Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation with records - Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely material availability and replenishment - Proper storage and labeling of all inventory items to prevent damage or loss - Manage the return of unused or damaged goods and raise necessary documentation - Monitor material consumption and highlight any abnormal usage to project management - Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the store premises - Supervise helpers and store staff, if any Qualifications Required: - Procurement coordination skills - Safety management knowledge - Records management experience - Inventory control expertise - Material management understanding - Record-keeping abilities - Supervisory skills - Knowledge of materials handling in a store environment,
