Job Description

As a Store Manager at SBS Food Mart (SBS 6 Ten), your primary role is to oversee the management and smooth functioning of the grocery retail store in New Delhi. You will be responsible for various aspects of store operations, team leadership, inventory management, customer service, financial management, and marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure daily store operations align with company standards and run efficiently - Monitor and improve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction - Implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and boost sales - Maintain store hygiene, safety, and compliance with health standards - Hire, train, and supervise store staff to create a positive work environment - Conduct performance reviews and resolve internal conflicts within the team - Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and coordination with vendors - Deliver exceptional customer experience by training staff on customer interaction - Achieve sales targets, control operational costs, and manage budgets effectively - Execute local marketing initiatives, collaborate with the marketing team, and engage with the community to increase store visibility Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field - 3+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in grocery or FMCG - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of inventory management systems and point-of-sale tools - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays - Customer-focused attitude and ability to handle complaints tactfully Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with retail CRM or ERP systems - Knowledge of pricing strategies and stock optimization - Prior experience in managing multi-department teams In addition to a competitive salary with performance-based incentives, as a full-time, permanent employee, you will have the opportunity to lead and grow within the company, access training and development programs, and enjoy health and insurance benefits.
