Job Description: 1. Stock Replenishment and Ordering (MOQ to be maintained). Monitor, check and update stock levels in the ERP (transact), place requisition to purchase department from ERP/ requisition book when needed and ensure material match with purchase orders, service order and delivery challan which is available in the ERP (transact). 2. Issuance of Materials to production team Issue materials as per requisitions received from the production department, track quantities, and maintain records in the job card and Bin Card. 3. Issuance of consumables to on-floor workers Issue materials/consumables to the floor worker in the designated time frame. Maintain the record in the ERP (transact) and store book and write the name of the floor worker to whom the consumables are issued. 4. Tool and Equipment Management Maintain and organize tools, monitor condition, and track usage in excel weekly. 5. Material Identification tag. Tag the SFG and FG material for identification and keep it in the designated area for easy identification. Define colour coding for the Raw material and paint the material accordingly along with the length or size which best describes the material. While issuing the material to the production, add a tag of quantity and workorder and then hand over to the production department. If the material cut piece is there then write the details on the raw material and enter the same into the yellow zone excel sheet. If the material is stored for max 45 days, then shift it to red zone and enter the same in red zone excel sheet. If the material there in the red zone for total 60 days, then scrap the material in the next collection cycle. 6. Maintenance of Storage Areas Organize and maintain storage areas for optimal material preservation by inspecting storage areas, implement proper storage practices, label materials, and conduct audits quarterly.
